The Sony PSP GO black console is the latest PSP available on the market. Following the massive uncontrolled outbreak of the PSP’s security hack which compromised the game developers in the psp console, Sony has released PSP Go which has no UMD support as a means to control the piracy of software and games and the illegal mod of the PSP firmware but has also pressurized the PSP Center which might raise the question – does Sony psp go center work as fast as it used to?
However, this was a very bad move for Sony as the Sony PSP Go console black new psp console is far from being a properly functional game console. It is great for acting trendy and watching movies or listening to music. It just isn’t good for playing games in it. For other purposes, it is very good. The PSP Go has a very bad design which makes it very awkward and painful to play games in it. The main reason why the Sony PSP GO black console is in the market is because Sony wants a way to remove the utilization of the UMD as a means of piracy and wants to have a closer control on the method of distribution of the games.
The Sony PSP GO black console is a very stylish gadget, very useful for surfing the net, watching videos, playing games, or listening music, but it is not very suitable to the hardcore gamers as the PSP Go has such a design that the controls are awkward and has a very high tendency of creating excess stress on your hands.
The PSP Go black console sports better processor and better graphics compared to the other PSP in the series and as a result provides much better performance than the others. It is just too bad that the designers at Sony did not take into consideration the comfort issue while designing the console because other than the awkward control scheme, the console is amazing in every other respect.
I am a very big fan of the PSP series ever since I got my hands on one of my most prized possessions, the PSP 1000. Since then I have found a new love for portable gaming and I found a strange addiction to the small screen. The PSP Go did not fulfill my expectation with its uncomfortable control scheme, but other than that the PSP Go is a fantastic piece of hardware.

- You can pause a game and go back to the XMB to do some other things.
- You can connect to a TV.
Cons:
- No UMD exclusives (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Crisis Core, etc).
- No touchscreen.
- No dual analog sticks.
- Buttons feel cheap.
- It is not a new version of the standard PSP.
- Screens way too small.
